Abia Warriors rekindle rivalry in friendly

Rangers will take on oriental rivals Abia Warriors in a friendly encounter on Sunday 

The match is billed for the Rangers Training Pitch in Enugu.

The encounter is aimed at preparing the teams for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Rangers have participated in numerous friendly matches in the past few weeks in a bid to select the best legs for the new campaign.

Abia Warriors had a disappointing pre-season tournament outing in Ikenne where they failed to progress from the group stage.

The 2023-24 NPFL season is expected to commence on September 9.
