Boyspyce speaks out : "Many people look down on me in the music industry"

Boy spyce, the rapidly emerging Nigerian singer, has spoken candidly about his struggles as a budding musician in the music business. He claimed that many people “do not rate” him because he began his career on instagram.

Boy spyce came into the limelight following the numerous covers and posts he made on instagram as he showcased his abilities. don jazzy decided to take a chance on him and eventually offered him a recording deal with Mavins Records. He has since gone on to release chart-topping songs and melodies that the current afrobeat audience has since enjoyed.

But Boy Spyce says despite his relative success in the music scenes, many people still find it hard to give him credit for reaching the heights he has now. However, the mavin signee said he doesn't feel terrible about being looked down on in an interview with Cool FM.

He said, “No, it doesn't piss me off. I knew it was going to happen. I knew there are some people who are gonna find it hard to accept, but I mean, if you don't face challenges, then are you really doing anything?”
