Chelsea coach Pochettino express his thoughts about what he expects from Lukaku

Mauricio Pochettino, the new head coach of Chelsea, has stated that he expects Romelu Lukaku to report for pre-season if he is still at the club.

Pochettino spoke at a press conference on Friday.

Lukaku spent the last season on loan at Inter Milan.

The Belgium international is keen to join the Serie A side on a permanent basis from Chelsea.

 Pochettino said: “He has to come back on July 12, 13, to be part of the squad to start pre-season. With all the players that arrive, the first thing that they are doing is to come to my office and say hello. That is what I expect if he is still a Chelsea player.”
