Dessers delighted to get off the mark for Rangers

Nigeria forward, Cyriel Dessers was thrilled to score his maiden goal for Scottish Premiership club, Rangers.

Dessers was on target in the Light Blues 2-1 win against Swiss club, Servette on Wednesday night.

The 29-year-old fired blank on his official debut for Rangers against Kilmarnock last weekend.

“That moment was unbelievable. Of course, you dream of scoring at Ibrox in front of this crowd, and to feel the emotion it’s amazing and it is an amazing feeling,” Dessers told Rangers TV.

“I am happy that it was an important goal that we got the win out of.”

Rangers will travel to Geneva for the reverse fixture next Tuesday.
