I feel sorry for him – Parlour on Arsenal star

Former Arsenal player Ray Parlour has expressed sympathy for full-back Kierney as he struggles at the club.

Tierney has fallen behind teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko in Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s defensive pecking order since the latter’s arrival from Manchester City last summer.

During Arsenal’s 2022–2023 season, the Scottish star made only 36 appearances across all competitions.

And Parlour believes Tierney will be dissatisfied with his career at Mikel Arteta’s side.

“Kieran is a totally different player [to Oleksandr Zinchenko]. Kieran is an out-and-out outside player. But once he gets into good areas, his delivery is fantastic. I feel sorry for Kieran a little bit,” Parlour 

“He has had a few injuries as well. I think he will be frustrated with his Arsenal career because he has been held back quite a few times.”
