I played for Frank Lampard but I’m more likely to fight him than say hello if we bumped into each other

Frank Lampard is arguably Chelsea’s best-ever player but his managerial career has rubbed one person up the wrong way.

While at Derby, Andre Wisdom was coached by the Blues legend, who is now in the managerial dugout at Stamford Bridge.

But the ex-Liverpool defender has admitted that he did not get on well with Lampard – and could fight him if he ever saw him again.

Wisdom was relegated to a bit-part role under Lampard at Derby, who was in charge for the 2018/19 campaign, making just 11 Championship appearances.

The 29-year-old told The Beautiful Game podcast: “His job is his job, all the best to him. I don’t have no bad vibes to him.

“If he was sat here would I speak to him? Nah.

“What is the other guy called? Jody Morris. I just didn’t rate them.

“They’re just not my type of people. On a night out, I’d probably get into a fight with them.”
