There is that which I have lost,
For it my heart pines,
To that which was lost were promises and fulfillment,
I went through the archive of the days we shared,
But they become occupants in my memory,
I tried to reach out but couldn't because burnt was the bridge that leads me to you,
Even when I call out, you stay silent,
I tried writing to you just one more time but my ink had dried up,
Sorrow clouds my heart,
It is disheartening that I know not of my flame's wellbeing,
Stay not aloof from me for my heart awaits.
