Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has revealed that his mother asked him not to return to Nigeria following the death of his close friend and collaborator, Mohbad.
Shmurda says he was in Canada preparing for a tour when he got the news of Mohbad's death, which was reported to have been due to an injection given to him at a hospital.
Shmurda's mother advised him not to return to Nigeria yet, possibly out of concern for his safety.
