Nollywood stars bag award home in the AMAA award 2023
A number of winners were announced at the 2023 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), held in Lagos, Nigeria, including Kunle Afolayan's movie "Anikulapo," which won for Best Achievement in Production Design and the Ousmane Sembene award for Best Film in an African Language.
Senegalese film "Xale" won the awards for Best Film and Best Costume Design. CJ "Fiery" Obasi's "Mami Water" took home Best Film in an African Language, Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Screenplay, and Best Director.
