Oshoala named UEFA women's Champions League Goal of the week
Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala has been named UEFA Women's Champions League Goal of the Week for her stunning bicycle kick goal against Benfica.
- Oshoala, who plays for Barcelona Femeni, came on as a substitute in the 60th minute and scored the bicycle kick goal just seconds later.
- Her goal helped Barcelona to a 5-0 victory over Benfica, and was recognized as the best goal of the week by UEFA.
- This is not the first time Oshoala has won the Goal of the Week award, having also done so in 2021.
