Rema meet Rwanda president
Nigerian afrobeats superstar Rema met Rwandan President Paul Kagame at the presidential palace in Kigali on Sunday.
Rema, who won the Global African Artist of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2023 Trace Music Awards in Kigali, told President Kagame he felt a "serene energy" in Rwanda and expressed hope for African unity.
During his visit, Rema said he feels he can "rest and feel at home without having to travel overseas" in Rwanda.
