Ten Hag lists three reasons behind Man Utd’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has blamed three refereeing decisions for his team’s 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday.

The Red Devils recorded their second loss in four fixtures at the Emirates.

Marcus Rashford had given them the lead, but Martin Odegaard equalised almost immediately.

Alejandro Garnacho had a goal ruled out for offside late in the game, while Rasmus Hojlund saw his penalty claims waved off.

Arsenal then scored two late goals through Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus to take all three points.

Ten Hag has now pointed to the key incidents in the match that decided the result.

“It was not an offside (for Garnacho). It was the wrong angle. And there was a penalty on Højlund and a foul on Evans (for Rice’s goal). The performance was right. Everything went against us,” he said.
