Wayne Rooney target of returning to premier league after a 12 year absence
Newly appointed Birmingham City manager, Wayne Rooney, has revealed the club's target of returning to the Premier League after a 12-year absence.
- The former England and Manchester United star signed a 3-and-a-half-year deal with the Championship side on Wednesday, taking over from John Eustace who was sacked despite the team winning their last two games.
- Rooney stated that he is ready to work with the club to achieve success, and is determined to see Birmingham City compete for a place in the top flight of English football again.
