A policewoman has called court to divorce her and her husband
A policewoman named Angela Adams asked a customary court in Jikwoyi, Federal Capital Territory, on Tuesday to end her marriage to her husband, Titus, because of his alleged physical abuse.
During the hearing on the divorce petition filed against her husband in court, she stated that “whenever we had a minor disagreement, my husband would beat me like a child. He would specifically target my eyes. The last time he beat me, he hit me in the face, but thankfully, I was able to deflect the blow with my hand, and my hand was torn as a result.”
