A teenage mother detained for killing stepdaughter
An 18-year-old pregnant housewife, Khadija Adamu, who was detained for allegedly beating her five-year-old stepdaughter to death, has claimed that she never planned to kill the small child.
Khadija claimed she was just attempting to discipline the child for soiling her pants.
It was reported on Tuesday that the Bauchi State Police Command had paraded Khadija for allegedly beating her stepdaughter, Hafsat, to death.
On September 28, 2023, the alleged event took place in the Kandahar neighborhood of Bauchi.
