Atiku revealed why he turned down Tinubu request to be his running mate for presidency in 2007
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, has revealed that he turned down Bola Tinubu's request to be his running mate because he wanted to become president.
He also maintained that he did not betray Tinubu in their political alliance in 2007, but rather stood up to President Olusegun Obasanjo to ensure that Lagos State did not succumb to the political tsunami of that year.
