Lagos government vow to demolish illegal building in ogombo
The Lagos State Building Control Agency has vowed to demolish illegal structures and shanties in the Ogombo area of Eti-Osa Local Government.
The General Manager of LASBCA, Arc. Gbolahan Oki, revealed that the land, which was allegedly sold to unsuspecting buyers by land grabbers, belongs to the state government.
Oki said that the agency has given numerous warnings of demolition for the last five years, and that most of the buildings are shanties and only a few are unauthorized structures that do not have building plan approval or any government documentation.
