NMDPRA has warned fuel station operators against altering their pumps.
The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has warned fuel station operators against altering their pumps.
The warning was issued by the NMDPRA Chief Executive, Farouk Ahmed, at a meeting with the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The NMDPRA is concerned that some fuel stations are altering their pumps to dispense less than the actual amount paid for, which is illegal.
Fuel stations that are caught altering their pumps will face sanctions such as revocation of operating licences, suspension from operation, or closure.
