Over 500 case of SGBV recorded in Bauchi

A total of over 500 cases of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) have been recorded in Bauchi State so far in 2023, with the highest number of cases recorded in the local government areas of Toro, Alkaleri, and Katagum, according to Amina Garuba Ahmed, the Executive Director of the Ikra Foundation for Women and Youth Development.
