Supreme Court rejected Atiku new evidence against Tinubu described as "friendly joke"
The Supreme Court has rejected Atiku Abubakar's request to admit new evidence in his appeal against President Bola Tinubu, describing it as a "friendly joke" and out of the court's jurisdiction.
The court noted that Atiku's case was filed out of time and he failed to establish cause for forgery, dismissing the request to tender evidence as having no constitutional or democratic significance.
It is important to note that Atiku had attempted to submit evidence from the Chicago State University that he claimed to show that Tinubu had forged his educational credentials.
