The government of Taraba State has announced plans to provide special allowances for members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who are teaching in schools in the state.
The allowance will include a one-time medical allowance of N50,000, an accommodation allowance of N25,000 per term, and a monthly allowance of N10,000.
This move is in response to the increased school enrollment in the state as a result of the government's recent declaration of free basic education, as well as the provision of uniforms and learning materials.
