Tinubu appoints new executive secretary and chief executive officer of PTDF
President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of Ahmed Aminu as the new Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) for a four-year term.
The new executive secretary recently served as the General Manager of the Education and Training Department at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund and succeeds Bello Aliyu Gusau, who is retiring on September 26.
This appointment comes at a critical time for the agency, which is responsible for training and developing local capacity in the petroleum industry in line with the Federal Government's commitment to the local content policy.
