Unknown gunman kidnap 2 wives of a LG chairman in Jigawa
Gunmen have kidnapped two wives of the Chairman of Kiyawa Local Government Council in Jigawa State.
- A resident told the Daily Post that the attack occurred at night, when the gunmen entered Kiyawa and gained access to the Chairman's home, kidnapping the two women.
- The kidnappers reportedly fired shots in the air, causing panic and confusion in the town.
- One of the abducted wives is reportedly heavily pregnant and due to give birth at any moment.
- The police have confirmed the incident, saying there were no reported injuries. The kidnappers have not yet made contact with the family.
