WAEC to decide on held results
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that it will meet on Tuesday, October 3, to consider cases of malpractice and irregularities that arose during the conduct of the 2023 WASSCE.
The body's Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) will consider and decide on the cases, which could have implications for the results of some of the candidates who sat for the examinations.
This follows the release of the results in August, when 262,803 results were put on hold due to alleged examination malpractice.
